About Your Dentist

Dr. Heba Shammout is a general dentist. She sees patients for dental cleanings, consultations, dental emergencies, tooth extraction, and treats wisdom tooth problems.

Dr. Shammout received her bachelor's degree from the University of Aleppo. She then earned her doctor of dental surgery degree from the University of Southern California.

Dr. Shammout is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry. She looks forward to providing high-quality dental care and to ensure that her patients have a positive experience at the clinic.

Dr. Roy lives in Tucson with her husband. She loves to travel around the world with her family. In her free time, you can find Dr. Roy trying new restaurants and exploring hidden gems around Arizona.

Life & Hobbies

In 2000, Dr. D’Aniello moved to Tucson with his wife, Georgiann, and their children, Laura, Leah, Joshua and Benjamin, to be able to spend more time outdoors and enjoy the beauty, culture, and charm of the Southwest with family and friends. His interests include downhill skiing, hiking, sailing, and reading suspense novels. 

Dr. D’Aniello participated in coaching Pop Warner football in Tucson for years and volunteered as the football coach for Catalina High School. He also coached women’s gymnastics for many years. Additionally, he has volunteered for mission trips to Mexico to build homes and a church. 

My Mission

“I initially began practicing as a general dentist and then pursued my Advanced General Dentistry Certificate and finally my Master’s in Periodontics and Implant Surgery.

I have spent most of my professional career practicing in Arizona as well as instructing at the Arizona School of Dentistry. I have extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal diseases through non-surgical, regenerative, or respective therapy and implant therapy.

One of my favorite things about being a Periodontist is the camaraderie I get to experience with other providers. I enjoy collaborating with other professionals who have a “patient-first” mentality.”
